Make your life count for something.
Help me understand why the world at large rewards mediocrity. Think about it--most of what you see is very middle. I remember Stephen Wright talking about wearing size extra medium. People get to that stage of being just a hair better than "insert name here" and they are treated as if they have ascended to the throne. Why? Because most people do just enough to get by and nothing more. Most don't want to go to any more effort than is required. It is like an energy crisis where people are afraid they are going to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere if they try to hard.
What will your legacy be? Have you ever thought about it?
What difference does you life make?
Don't get all somber now. This is a vibrant and living question. Your life means everything. Jesus dies for your life. God gave up His son for your life. Your miserable existence+your lack of ability to change it=Priceless to God.
We have a part to play in touching lives in a positive way sharing God's love.
